Academics have warned that the rise of the ‘bromances’ mean the end of heterosexuality as we know it. They discovered that many men find their close male friendships more emotionally satisfying than relationships with women. Intense male friendships have grown more acceptable in recent decades as attitudes towards homosexuality changed, meaning men no longer fear showing affection towards each other. But researchers at the University of Winchester warned that bromances, coupled with the ease at which men can now engage in casual sex, are threatening long term relationships with women. Dr Stefan Robinson, of the University of Winchester, said the results were ‘significant and worrying’ for women and warned there is in emerging culture of sexism and disdain in the way Millennial men view the opposite sex. “These heterosexual millennial men cherish their close male friends, so much so that they may even provide a challenge to the orthodoxy of traditional heterosexual relationships. Because heterosexual sex is now achievable without the need for romantic commitment, the bromance could increasingly become recognized as a genuine lifestyle relationship, whereby two heterosexual men can live together and experience all the benefits of a traditional heterosexual relationship.”The research was published in the journal Men and Masculinities. I’m gonna call bullshit on the validity of this research and its findings. I am not even going into the lack of a conceptual framework or deficiencies in the scientific model. To declare that so-called “bromances” threatened heterosexual relationships is ludicrous. Then to call men sexist for not sharing emotionality or their every secret with women is short-sighted and obviously biased and actually has a taint of homophobia. – Dr Mike
Yes Mike, I have to agree. Bunk. Still to man guys even young one who love pussy and are willing to put up with the feminist bill shit. Not that a lot of them still like to suck or be sucked by another guy. Mark
Yes please, wank me long and hard then suck my cock dry while you finger my hole and make me cum again and again…
A B romance is by far the best option for many men!
However, I don’t believe it is because of the easy fluid connection between Men…I believe it is because women have grown far to far away from the traditional expectations of a women and are now too domineering.
Women want to be in “control” of everything (possibly always have)…including a man’s emotional & physical needs.
Many men have just gotten sick of it… and have opened their minds to what at one time was always acceptable a best buddy! Mutual masturbation and Flip/Flop sex have become clear forms of allowing each man his own desires and masculine pleasures without being treated like a object!
I see it as the 1950’s…but flipped up-side down!
RIGHT ON!!!!
is true ! women r for reproduction and also for emotional feelings love sex each of us finds in women what he looks for real Str8 and bisex provide for that
in bromance a man finds others things that women cannot do , same raisoning same lust desire companionship love attraction and also a freedom that u do not have in an etero relationship ( or find very seldom )
moreover a male is en exciting risky hunting game far more than seducing a women..
this has always existed since ever under differents forms and maybe less shown under day light .. and popoulation rose up to 8 billions so the extinction will be done by others means not by bromance
I see truth in this, because women are already everywhere in life and are constantly complicating it. Therefore, I am not surprised if two or more straight men live together and thus meet women to satisfy their desires. But in addition to these, he has an uncomplicated male partner with whom he can discover such wonderful feelings as satisfying each other sexually. Besides these, I love women and their beautiful pussies, but there are only problems and problems with them.
In fact, women in today’s advanced societies are only needed for reproduction, because an enlightened man must understand everything. So if you want an uncomplicated life for yourself, then live with another guy who might be a nice cock, but he doesn’t have to be gay.
OK, or gay, that is the question.
Bromance as the end of heterosexuality.. I think I agree with Dr Mike, to an extent.
There are definitions to be made around Bro-romantic being brosocial/homosocial, and Bro-sexual or homosexual, including sex between straight guys. Men may or may not include romantic feelings with sexual feelings, often heard after an affair is exposed “it was just sex”. So I believe it depends on contextual vs emotional setting.
However I am excited by the apparent slippage and weakening of boundaries of the spectrum, leading to perhaps an I nclusive or hybrid masculinity – not necessarily the “end of heterosexuality” and not even the converse “end of homosexuality” for that matter. Could heteromosexuality be an appropriate confusion of language that allows for an urban morphological experience of sex and sexuality however you want it, without the death of either homo or hetero sexualities?
At the same time the collective and individual terror men have of an erect penis other than their own needs to be exposed as irrational. Denying our sameness (both heter and homo) behind banter and pretence that wanking an erect penis, your own or a bro, is something we can all enjoy immensely. Yet in cumplete opposition, women bond over the fact that menstruation is a personal and collective event. Women are more likely to venture into homo sex without fear of turning into a lesbian, so why are men so slow to realise we can do the same?
It’s always “toward” never towards.
All men wank,
and in that
natural process
men learn
the great power of cock.
First theirs
and then others.
Fucking hot pic makes me so horny – I can just imagine servicing the fantastic cock 😋
I firmly believe this relates to which country you live in. I lived in the U.K. for 40 years and now live in Canada. In both cases, I would agree with the statements. However, if you look at our neighbors to the south, the situation is very different.
